Europe will forever hold a special place in my heart.
From delicious morsels of Tapas along the Cantabrian coast to the dizzying heights of the Dolomites, to the twisting cobbled lanes of its many old towns and the autumnal forests of its countryside. To the raw, wilderness of Iceland and the Faroe Islands to the icy plains of Lapland. To the severely underrated vivacity of the Balkans and the uncrowded beaches that dot the sparkling coast.
It’s a place that could occupy a traveller for years. And it’s a place that even after all these years, I still feel I’ve barely scratched the surface of.
But whether you’re an adventurer, a history buff, a foodie or a beach bum, whether you’re looking for a whistle-stop city break or several months of deliciously slow travel, Europe is always a good idea.
